Wilson Combat WCP320 Carry Action Tuned Curved Trigger Gray

Wilson Combat WCP320 Carry Action Tuned Curved Trigger Gray

This robust, fast-handling pistol wears our Wilson Combat-engineered polymer Carry-2 grip module with a 3-slot rail. This newly designed and manufactured grip has enhanced traction, smoother reloading, improved pointablity, and superb recoil control in dynamic shooting.

The Wilson Combat WCP320 Carry, Action Tuned, Curved Trigger, Gray Module is a customized SIG Sauer P320-based 9mm pistol. I found that the current Wilson Combat Carry grip module is available in gray and is designed around the P320 Carry configuration.

What “Action Tuned” means

This is one of the more significant differences from the standard WCP320 Carry. Wilson Combat offers an action tune using Grayguns custom P320 trigger components, intended to improve the trigger’s feel and operation. The Carry can be configured with either a curved or straight trigger shoe.

The curved trigger is the more traditional trigger profile compared with the flat-faced X-FULL trigger found on standard versions.

An important distinction: “Action Tuned” does not mean the entire pistol has been rebuilt from scratch. The P320’s serialized fire-control unit remains the core of the pistol, while Wilson Combat customizes the surrounding components and performs its 17-round magazines. k.

Gray Wilson Combat grip module

The gray Carry module is more than a cosmetic change. Wilson Combat’s module has:

  • High-cut 1911-style beavertail

  • Modified backstrap geometry

  • Undercut/reshaped trigger guard

  • 17-round magazines.

  • Magazine-well geometry intended to facilitate reloads

  • Internal provisions for Wilson Combat rod-style tungsten weights

  • Factory SIG magazine-release components

  • Compatibility with standard P320 Carry holsters

Wilson Combat lists the module at approximately 3.2 oz, 7¼ inches long, 4¼ inches high and 1¼ inches wide.

Slide and barrel

The WCP320 Carry uses a shortened P320 slide/barrel configuration compared with the full-size WCP320. The slide receives Wilson Combat’s X-TAC machining, including distinctive front/rear cocking serrations and machining on the slide top. The stainless-steel slide and chromoly barrel receive a black DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish.

The Carry configuration therefore gives you a full-size/Carry grip with a compact-length 3.9-inch barrel and slide a combination sometimes described as a “professional” configuration.

Sights

The WCP320 Carry uses Wilson Combat Battlesights, with a red fiber-optic front sight and a black rear sight. Published testing of the WCP320 found the sights appropriately regulated at 25 yards.

Capacity

The commonly documented configuration comes with two 17-round X-Series magazines.

Actual magazine capacity and include magazines can vary by jurisdiction/configuration, so the specific firearm’s original packaging and serial-number documentation should be check.

Dimensions compared with the full-size WCP320

The Carry is noticeably shorter than the full-size WCP320:

WCP320 Carry WCP320 Full Size
Barrel 3.9″ 4.7″
Overall length 7.5″ 8.25″
Empty weight ~26.8 oz ~29.2 oz
Magazine 17 rd 17 rd

The full-size version is document at 8.25 inches overall with a 4.7-inch barrel and approximately 29 oz unload.

P320 compatibility; Wilson Combat WCP320 Carry Action Tuned Curved Trigger Gray

One of the major advantages of the P320 architecture is its modularity. The serialize fire-control unit can be move between compatible grip modules and combine with appropriate slide/barrel assemblies.

The Wilson Combat Carry module itself is designe for the P320 Carry configuration and is available in multiple colors, including gray. Wilson Combat specifically warns that its P320 grip modules aren’t compatible with California-compliant P320 versions.

How this particular configuration differs from a standard WCP320 Carry

Think of the model description as four separate pieces:

WCP320 → Wilson Combat’s customized P320 platform
Carry → 3.9″ compact slide/barrel + full-length Carry grip
Action Tuned → Wilson/Grayguns upgraded trigger/action configuration
Curved Trigger → traditional curved trigger shoe rather than the flat option
Gray Module → gray Wilson Combat Carry polymer grip

So this isn’t merely a regular P320 with a gray grip. It’s a factory Wilson Combat configuration incorporating the Wilson slide, sights, grip module and an upgraded/tuned trigger system.
