This particular piece was crafted in 1949. It comes with a beaded blade front and an adjustable rear sight for varying elevations, complete with conventional barrel inscriptions. The receiver stands out with an intricate full-coverage scrollwork design featuring wildlife scenes. To the right, you’ll find a rabbit, and to the left, a fox – both left bright against the blued backdrop. Smaller components, such as the trigger and the safety lever, are adorned with gold plating. The forearm and pistol grip stock have been enhanced with checkering, and it concludes with a Winchester hard rubber buttplate exhibiting a similar checkered pattern.

This custom-engraved piece is in superb condition, maintaining 99% of its original polished blue finish with slight signs of use and detailed engraving. The customized, highly figured walnut wood adds an impressive touch with its vibrant hue and precise checkering. Its mechanical condition is also excellent, ensuring reliable functionality.
